I will be spending a month in The Art Studio testing out ideas, learning about my process, and generally throwing spaghetti against a wall until it sticks or I cry, or both. I will mostly be working alone (because why make it easy when I can make it hard?), but a few rockstar makers will drop in to make sure I'm still alive.
At the end of it all, there will be a showing! What will you see? What will it be about? Will you like it? All excellent questions for which I have no answer. Right now, I'm calling it "Barbiturates & Ice Cream" and describing it as a visceral, humorous exploration of bodies, emotions, and a grandmother I never knew. But hey, that might change.
An informal reception and feedback session will take place after the showing.
